Curricular sinopsis

Degree in Biology by Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, M.Sc. in Mathematics Applied to Biological Sciences (Experimental Statistics) by Instituto Superior de Agronomia da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa e and Ph.D. in Biology (Ecology and Biosystematics) by FCUL. Aggregation in Animal Biology in FCUL, Environmental Specialist by the Portuguese Order of Biologists.

Several lectureships in Biology degrees, Master and Doctoral courses in portuguese and foreign universities.

Develops scientific activities in MARE, mainly on the field of marine ecology. Author or co-author of more than 250 articles in international scientific journals included in the Science Citation Index.
